Hi All,
I wanted to do a short post to wish everybody a Happy New Year! Its been a great year with all the various projects and I’ve been having loads of fun.
I’ve got various projects planned for 2024 so stay tuned for more 🙂
Some of the projects currently in the works:
(1) More DATV projects and OpenTuner/Longmynd/Winterhill client updates. With the news of more Serit modules becoming available soon again from the BATC it makes sense to explore some of the more exotic projects I have in mind. I’ve been spending time on especially the cross platform side, including linux, mac and apple products. More to share soon!
(2) ICOM 9700 Satellite integration. I’ve been playing a lot with Leo satellites this past year and have been working on a new software project for integrating my ICOM and Raspberry PI for some satellite tracking goodness.
(3) Amateur Radio related 3d Printing. I got my hands on a new 3d printer that can deal with more interesting materials than just PLA. I’ve been experimenting with TPU, ASA and PETG and am designing a few radio related projects around it.
All this and more will be shared over the next couple of months here 🙂
As always, lots going on and I’m very excited for the new projects this year. Thanks to all for your beer support, bug reports, features requests, etc. It is very much appreciated.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday and please stay safe.
